In a statement released on Sunday in Abuja, the spokesperson of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), Wilson Uwujaren, refuted claims that the commission had conducted a raid on the home of Bola Tinubu, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress.

Uwujaren stated that the report circulating on social media, which alleged that the EFCC had recovered a huge sum of N400 billion from Tinubu’s home, was false. The EFCC denied carrying out any such operation and urged the public to disregard the report as fake news.
