Ondo state presidential election results 2023: INEC declare Tinubu of APC winner

ondo state presidential election results 2023, On Monday morning, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) announced the results of the Ondo State presidential election that took place on Saturday.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) emerged as the winner with 369,924 votes, while the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) came in second with 115,463 votes and the Labour Party (LP) in third with 47,350 votes. The African Democratic Party (ADP) received 5,612 votes.

The announcement was made at the INEC state headquarters in Alagbaka, Akure, the state capital, after the Collation Officers arrived and presented the results.

The Returning Officer for the Presidential Election in the state, Prof. Abayomi Fashina, who is also the Vice Chancellor of the Federal University, Oye-Ekiti, Ekiti State, declared that the ruling APC won all 18 local government areas. According to the results, 571,402 voters were accredited, 570,017 votes were cast, while 19,009 votes were rejected.
